This 4-week series is an invitation to rethink everything you’ve been taught about power and to reclaim it from the inside out.
Using Janet Hagberg’s six stages of personal power as a guide, we’ll explore how power develops over time — from seeking it externally through achievement, approval, and identity, to discovering a deeper, more sustainable source within. Rather than labeling any stage as “good” or “bad,” this framework honors each phase as part of a natural human unfolding.
Together, we’ll move from awareness to embodiment: noticing where you’ve given your power away, navigating the pivotal shift into self-trust, aligning with what truly matters, and ultimately stepping into a quieter, more integrated form of power rooted in wisdom.
This is a non-judgmental exploration.
It’s about remembering who we are — beneath the roles, expectations, and external validation — and learning to claim our inner authority.
This is for you if…
This series is for anyone who's started to notice something feels off. The achievements aren't landing like they used to. The approval you've chased hasn't made you feel whole. You're ready to stop outsourcing your sense of worth.
You find yourself seeking others' approval before trusting your own judgment
You sense there's a quieter, truer version of yourself waiting to be heard
You tied your identity to titles, relationships, or how much you accomplish
You’re ready to move from proving yourself to simply being yourself
THE JOURNEY
Six stages of power. Four weeks of exploration.
This series traces the full arc of how we relate to power — from seeking it in the world around us, to discovering it has been inside us all along. Each week builds on the last.
-
Stages 1–3 · External Power
We begin with honesty. Where have you learned to locate your power — in others' opinions, your credentials, your relationship status, your productivity? These patterns aren't flaws. They're developmental stages, shaped by culture. Understanding them is the first act of freedom. Through teaching, reflection, and somatic practice, you'll begin to see the invisible architecture of how you've been operating — with curiosity, not judgment.
-
Stage 4 · Power by Reflection
This is the pivotal week — the moment the old identities begin to crack. We explore disillusionment not as failure, but as initiation. The grief of who you were taught to be. And the quiet, terrifying birth of your own inner authority. Self-awareness becomes the doorway. This week includes a guided meditation to meet the part of you that already knows — and journaling to bridge who you were taught to be with who you're becoming.
-
Stage 5 · Power by Purpose
Purpose isn't a job title — it's an orientation. This week moves from self-awareness into embodiment. We explore the difference between ego-driven ambition and soul-driven direction, clarify your values, and discover how purpose simplifies even the hardest decisions. You'll practice making one genuinely aligned choice this week — and learn what it feels like to say no to what no longer fits.
-
Stage 6 · Power by Wisdom
This final stage isn't a destination — it's a way of being. Soft power. Integrated power. The kind that doesn't need to push, prove, or perform. We explore leadership without ego attachment, holding tension without collapsing, and the spaciousness that comes when you stop striving. We close with a collective ritual: releasing an old power story, and naming a new commitment to carry forward.
